Wow. I followed the recipe to the T. The indent in the middle worked perfect. When I flipped the burgers I had better than restaurant grill lines on the burgers. The timing was perfect. I did 4 min first side and that is when juices puddled in the indent flipped 2 more min then the cheese. The buns were great as well. Seems our other burgers were either too dry or too rare. I did use a meat thermometer and closed the lid on the barbecue as directed. I made the mayo with barbecue sauce. That was perfect too. Along with watermelon and a few fries. I still have 1/2 of mine left for tomorrow. I also weighed the portions prior to forming the patties and did not over work the meat. Another NK delicious recipe. My husband prepped the grill hearing to high to clean the grates like he does each time then down to medium with the lid open a few minutes prior to adding the patties.

BEST burger recipe!!! I don’t even like hamburgers–they’ve always tasted bland to me. But I decided to give this one a try with premade frozen burgers and some seasoning blend. I did all the toppings suggested and made the fry sauce for the buns…..honestly it’s making my mouth water just thinking about it! It reminded me of the double burgers with onion rings that we used to get when we were kids from Checkers. So delicious. Would be great served with fries. Thank you, Natasha, for helping me love a classic!

Hi Kinga, I imagine that will work! You can do something similar to my Cheeseburger Sliders if you prefer!
