I haven’t tested that but I think it could work. If you experiment, let me know how you liked the recipe.

That seems to be less mess than using a French press (which I don’t have) or cheesecloth (which I also don’t have).

Fantastic! I frequently use your recipes and LOVE the cookbook!
Thanks to your wonderful recipes, I now like cooking as much as shopping. Perhaps you can include some links to Amazon for you favorite filters, French press, coffee grinder etc…. I try to use your Amazon links so I can support your efforts in making me look good :). Christmas is coming and I have a bunch of coffee drinkers on my list!

Hi, Coffee filters filter very slowly and it’s tricky figuring out what to set them in unless you have the right size colander where the grounds won’t spill over the side. If you are very patient, you can make it work with coffee filters.

This is pretty much Vietnamese coffee 🙂 only difference is the coffee is slowly dripped through a metal filter.

This is expected and very normal for any coffee recipe like this. There’s really no way around it. Your better off not shaking it and let it settle and discard the last little bit at the end. Just the way it works.
